The short answer

Add employees on the Clover web dashboard, choose their role (Admin, Manager or Employee), send an invitation email so they can claim their account, and use Time Clock and Shifts to track hours.

Step by step

1. Employees, then Add employee

Each person gets their own PIN, so every sale, refund and void is tied to who did it.

2. Pick the right role

Admins see everything. Managers and employees get less. Give each person only the access their job needs.

3. Invites and claimed accounts

Add an email and Clover sends an invite. "Claimed" means they set up their login. Expired invites can be resent.

4. Time Clock and Shifts

Staff clock in and out on the device, and shifts show hours worked for payroll.

How we made this video

We recorded this on CleverPays' own Clover web dashboard at clover.com on 6 November 2026, view only: no sales, refunds or saved settings. Customer and employee names are blurred. Your dashboard can look a little different, depending on your plan and apps.
