The short answer
Your Clover deposit rarely equals your sales. The Deposits report shows what was submitted, the fees and adjustments taken off, chargebacks and the amount actually transferred to your bank, including negative amounts when fees are debited.

Step by step
1. Recent deposits
Finances, Overview lists recent deposits. A minus sign means money was taken out, often a monthly fee or equipment charge.
2. Four numbers tell the story
Amount submitted, fees and adjustments, amount transferred, and the number of transfers for the period.
3. Read each deposit line
Each row splits a deposit into amount submitted, chargebacks, fees, amounts paid by others and the final transfer.
4. Fees in detail live in statements
The monthly Merchant Processing statement lists every processing fee behind those deposits.
